President YASUHIRO KONDO
We have survived war, economic crises, and infectious disease with the spirit of monozukuri and pride.
Shinmei has a history that dates back almost 100 years from its predecessor company. Over the years, the company has overcome challenges such as wars, economic crises, and pandemics with its unwavering monozukuri and pride in contributing to the development of the automotive industry.
Despite facing multiple obstacles such as the Pacific War, the collapse of the bubble economy, the Lehman Shock, and the COVID-19 pandemic that shook the nation, Shinmei has continued to exist. This is because the company is committed to constantly pursuing new technologies and taking pride in its contribution to the automotive industry, which has been passed down from its founding.
As someone who has inherited this spirit, I have learned technical skills on the factory floor as a young worker and contributed to the company's growth by launching business units, leading the introduction of IT ahead of other companies in the late 1990s, and strengthening the recruitment of global talent as a manager. Through these efforts, we have overcome numerous obstacles and continue to thrive.

With a bold vision to lead the way, Shinmei Industries is gearing up for a once-in-a-century transformation in the automotive industry.
As we confront new challenges, such as declining car usage due to population decrease and the revolution of electrification, we are not daunted. Instead, we are excited about adapting to this new era with innovative solutions. We plan to combine existing and new technologies to respond to electrification and expand our BtoB services to meet the demand for car sharing.
Moreover, we will tackle the wave of connected cars and automation by integrating new technologies and closely collaborating with companies with specialized expertise. Although these are formidable obstacles, Shinmei Industries has the knowledge and manufacturing spirit that have been passed down since our founding to overcome them.
Our mission is to stay ahead of the times and emerge as a leader in the industry. We will navigate through these turbulent times with a bold and determined spirit and create a brighter future for the next generation.
